TC Academy Instructor Help
This page is a guide for people starting to work as instructors with TC Academy. The information applies to all instructors and is not limited to a specific course or instructor.

How to submit a formal instructor application — 5 steps
Step 1 — Open the instructor page
Where to click: From the menu at the top of the screen, select “TC Academy” → “Start teaching.” On a smartphone, open the three-line menu at the top left, then select “TC Academy” → “Start teaching.”
What to enter: Nothing.
What happens next: The “Start teaching” page opens. You can also open it here.
Step 2 — Read the information and terms
Where to click: Read the page carefully to the end. Also open and review the Instructor Terms, Sales Program Terms, and the sales / made-to-order / settlement rules linked near the bottom of the page.
What to enter: Nothing.
What happens next: You can review the conditions yourself before applying. When finished, use your browser’s Back button to return to the previous page.
Step 3 — Open the formal application
Where to click: On the “Start teaching” page, click “Apply as an instructor (formal application).”
What to enter: Sign in using Shopify email authentication.
What happens next: The instructor application opens in the TC Academy Portal. You can also open it here.
Step 4 — Complete the application
Where to click: Complete each field on the TC Academy Portal instructor application screen.
What to enter: There are 15 items, including your name, contact details, country or region of residence, time zone, supported languages, field you want to teach, experience, target learners, what you can teach, lesson format, and how you plan to conduct lessons. All fields not marked optional are required when you submit.
If you want to stop partway through, click “Save draft.” Do not enter identity documents, bank information, My Number, health information, or passwords.
What happens next: Your saved draft can be edited from where you left off the next time you sign in.
Step 5 — Submit the instructor application
Where to click: Review your entries and click “Submit instructor application.”
What to enter: Nothing additional.
What happens next: The status changes to “Submitted,” and the application waits for TC Academy’s initial review.
TC Academy will review your application. We may ask additional questions or request revisions. Submitting the application alone does not complete instructor registration, form a contract, or publish your instructor profile.
About the TC Academy Portal
Member registration, sign-in, and instructor application in the TC Academy Portal are currently available. Instructor operations such as course creation, teaching-material uploads, course publication, and sales / settlement displays are enabled in stages for people who meet the applicable review, identity-verification, and other requirements.

How official courses are created (planned)
At TC Academy, official courses, teaching materials, and consignment-sale products are created by the instructors themselves. TC Academy does not create a course on behalf of an instructor.
The planned flow is as follows.
Instructor creates → Draft → Instructor requests review → TC Academy reviews → Additional questions or revision requests if needed → Instructor revises and resubmits → TC Academy approves → Published
After the instructor application, available instructor functions are enabled according to progress through the initial review, acceptance of the applicable terms, identity verification, and other steps. Course creation, review submission, publication, and some related functions are not yet generally available.
