As this is a vintage item, there are signs of age-related wear and tear throughout.
The monogram canvas shows some rubbish, light soiling, and signs of wear, but no major tears are visible.
The vegetable-tanned leather parts show sunburn, stains, rubbish, dryness, and cracks. Rubbish and tears are visible on the bottom, piping, and around the opening.
The interior lining has deteriorated over time, with the surface coating peeling off extensively, exposing the underlying fabric. The inner lining can be pulled out from the bag.
The exposed inner fabric has been washed and is not very sticky, but it does have stains, uneven coloring, and signs of wear.
One rivet is missing at the base of the shoulder strap. The missing rivet is held in place by the leather stitching, and the strap is currently secured, allowing the bag to be used.
The metal parts show slight scratches, discoloration, fading of the plating, and verdigris in some areas. The inner zipper is functional and can be opened and closed.
